(2-LP set) This is a brand new 26 track mix compilation by Andy Smith, late of Portishead, compiler of the massive-selling "Document" series. Andy explores his love of Northern Soul, highlighting here many records that have been storming dancefloors at his night "Andy Smith presents Northern Soul." Mixed in Andy's inimitable style, the cuts are a mixture of Northern Soul classics (including tracks that have been sampled by Fatboy Slim and the Wu Tang Clan), and slightly less well-known floor fillers.
