Ryuichi Sakamoto's seventh solo album was produced in collaboration with Bill Laswell, with the intention of releasing it worldwide for the first time, and features top musicians from different genres, including Sly Dunbar, Bootsy Collins, and Tony Williams. While based on electronic sounds, it also fuses organic and ethnic musical elements such as Okinawan and Balinese traditional music, and was recorded between Tokyo and New York.
