Bassist Tim Wolfe, Jr. has music in his genes. His grandfathers were both mainstays on the Washington, D.C. jazz scene for decades, one a saxophonist and one a bassist, and he has followed in their footsteps by immersing himself in the jazz tradition. After years of study with Harrisburg PA's Jim Miller (himself student of the great Art Davis who was notably on some of John Coltrane's recordings), Tim moved to Philadelphia to attend The University of the Arts, earning his Master's degree in Jazz Studies. While in Philadelphia, Tim earned another equally important education regularly attending jam sessions. While music has allowed him to travel extensively up and down the Eastern seaboard and internationally, Tim is a mainstay on the jazz scene in the Central and South-Eastern Pennsylvania. In addition to keeping a busy performing schedule, he also runs a private teaching studio out of his home and is an Adjunct Professor of Music at Lebanon Valley College.
