More Info:

First released in 1989,Doolittle was the second Pixies album, first to be made commercially available in the US. An instant hit with both critics and fans, its slow burn success has since helped it to sell close to a million copies in the US alone. Among the many praise thrown Doolittle s way, Pitchfork ranked it at Number 4 in their Best Albums of the 80s poll, while in the UK, NME writers in 2004 named it their second best album of all time. In 2009, the band toured the album for it s 20th anniversary, and now at the 25th anniversary, they ve decided it s now time to give it the deluxe release treatment it deserves.

Reviews:

The 3 CD version contains an impressive 50 tracks - the original album, 2 full Peel Sessions, 6 B-sides and 22 demos - of which, almost half have never been commercially released before.

Sleeve designer Vaughan Oliver returns too, reinterpreting his original design and Simon Larbalestier s photographs for a stunning triple card wallet, printed in metallic ink.
