Feathe, the new album from Seth Avett, showcases his ongoing autobiographical narrative, experience-based philosophy, and (occasionally radical) musical evolution. Written entirely by Avett and co-produced with Dana Nielsen (SZA, Adele, Weezer, Rhianna), Feathe blends organic instrumentation with experimental elements, fusing guitar, bass, drums, piano, and synths (all performed by Avett & Nielsen). Thematically, the record delves into the deeply personal landscape listeners have come to expect from this artist, with early fatherhood and growing spirituality at the fore.
