Previous to this Super Audio CD reissue, the original master tapes for the classic Verve Getz/Gilberto album had not been used since 1980. In the process of Analogue Productions remastering of the album, they discovered that nearly every version of this title released to date (including the original from 1963), had had the channels reversed. In addition to correcting this error, the present recording features the kind of restorative sonic magic one has come to expect from APO.
