Teddi's classical training and melodic approach made critics call her a pop singer, but the emotion she put into her performances made all the jazz cats want to play with her. This LP was made in '76 (she died too young the next year) and came out in '79: The Door Opened; Glad to Be Unhappy; Two for the Road; There's a Lull in My Life, and more.
