"Remember when garage rock was supposed to be the next big thing? The Strokes and the White Stripes had each sold a million, while the Hives were sold to Warner Bros. for a million. But after bands like Division of Laura Lee and the D4 got lost in the flood, listeners were content to lock the garage door and chuck the key. That hardly matters to west coast punk/thrashers Zeke, who, since forming in 1993, have been discharging the kind of metallic gutter garage that would send Jet running to their stylists. Obvious nods to the MC5, Motorhead, and hints of early Mudhoney (courtesy of Seattle production guru Jack Endino) plaster 'Til the Livin' End, their Relapse debut.
