About the CD: 'Stray Bullet' houses a very eclectic and intriguing array of acoustic/electric compositions. The only uniformity found on this CD is it's diversity. The initial intonations on songs like 'Hungry' or 'Stepping Stone' have a gritty feel offering hints of jazz infused sensibility coupled with drop beats that build transitionally to more progressive metalisk riffs, culminating in cathartic choruses; while songs like 'Numb,' 'Off Me' or 'In Motion,' which blend refreshingly rugged acoustic/electric guitar riffs and heart pounding beats, create a wall of sound that is short of psychically materializing itself in space before your very eyes. Song 'Too Late,' with it's subtle acoustic riffs and mesmerizing bass lines, is an auditory departure into a world of liberating tranquility, but without the whining; and songs like 'Bones' and 'Falling Away' offer yet another dimension that is equivalent of an intriguing accent that a listener can not pin point on the map of musical geography. The lyrical content of the CD is mostly introspective and personal. The choruses are often eruptive but balance well against the more composed and mature verses and bridges. About the Band: Saints of Silence is a modern rock band from DC Metro area whose affair with music is that of a perpetual evolution. The band began in the Fall of 2003 as an all acoustic quartet often compared to The Days of the New. But the group soon began experimenting with new sounds and the lead Guitarist, Nick Burton, quickly substituted his acoustic guitar for an electric one. In the Spring of 2004 SOS' line up has changed as the group welcomed their new bassist, Chris Fisher, whose unparalleled bass skills became an integral part in band's future musical development. Currently SOS is actively seeking managerial representation. Also, the group is scheduled to put out their first video for the song 'Too Late' in the late Fall of 2005.
